HOW DOES THE WILDLIFE LENS WORK?

Our WildLife Lens Technology filters out a specific portion (380-420 nm) of blue light from the light spectrum, enhancing the eye’s perception of color and enhancing clarity. Blue is the dominant color when you are on snow. The human visual system perceives snow as the color white. Believe it or not, its real color is proven to be blue as it reflects the sky. The sky’s color spectrum presents a prevalence of blue light, (from 380nm to about 480 nm to be exact). Consequently the snow’s color spectrum also presents a large concentration of blue light; therefore, blue light has a strong influence on contrast vision.

VonZipper WildLife Lens Technology eliminates glare and haze caused by reflected light off of snow, slush and clouds. The awesome stuff enters your eyes evenly in just the right amount providing you with true definition clarity and a lift to your optical energy.

    High Energy Visible (HEV) light, also known as blue light, consists of high-frequency light waves. The light spectrum consists of many different colored light waves, all with varying frequencies. All of these light waves naturally enter your eyes all at once, without any consistency or pattern. Many things attribute to this inconsistency, such as changing weather, reflective surfaces and movement of things in your line of sight, thus making it almost impossible to see real color definition. Our WildLife Lens Technology adjusts to these intrusive factors by reducing the reflective light waves, allowing light to enter your eyes evenly and consistently. We’ve also added an infused pigment into our lens that focuses on the specific colored light waves that enhance color perception and gives your eyes true definition clarity.
