Freewheeler: Josh Grant

VonZipper: JG! It's been a minute man, seems like every time we try to get ahold of you lately you have been on the track or chasing around @TheGrantBoys!!

Josh Grant: I know... life's busy, just the way I like it.

VZ: You ain't kiddin'... so heading into this upcoming season, what get's your blood rushing?

JG: I'm just super excited to be fully healthy and ready to go for the first time in 5 years!

VZ: 5 years is a long-ass time... has it really been that long since you've felt 101%?

JG: It's literally been 5 years of just survival and now I'm finally coming out to actually fight this entire season... the Josh Grant of old is definitely back!

VZ: That's what we like to hear! Scary to imagine the damage a healthy Josh Grant full of piss and vinegar could inflict on those poor fellow racers this season. So changing the subject up slightly, how does it feel to have a super successful and professional team like Kawasaki keep coming back to drink from the "Josh Grant well" and have you represent their brand?

JG: It feels good to know that they have continued to back me and also know that I've always stepped up to help them out when needed, and vice versa... they have stepped up and supplied me with the tools to do my job. They're a great crew and come into each season more prepared than ever.

VZ: Again, knowing that you are back with the same crew and bike, have you had to shake it down much or do much testing?

JG: You know... as soon as I got my ankles fixed and healed up, I pretty much came straight back into it with the same Supercross settings that I was happy with last season. I feel good and definitely feel ready to go fight and see what I can do.

VZ: How do you feel about the support and changes we've been making throughout the last few years to better suit your program? Hell, you've seen a lot as our FreeWheeler RC Ride Captain for going on 3 years now!?

JG: It feels good to have like-minded people that understand what makes me happy and ready to go racing on the weekends, but at the same time allow me to be myself and represent the brand the way I would represent my own brand. I'm pretty stoked on the whole squad and our FreeWheeler club...

VZ: You're just saying that to make us feel good...

JG: I'm gonna go out and make everyone proud... I can tell you that!

VZ: Not a doubt in our minds... Give em hell at A1!!!!

JG: Count on it!
